I serve as the creative director of DownBeat magazine, the world’s leading jazz magazine. I design the entire look of the magazine—from the print magazines and digital editions to the brand’s website, eNewsletters and marketing collateral. The goal is to continuously redesign, refresh and renew the look of the magazine with the philosophy that redesign is not an occasional event, but a mindset of constant evolution. This is a magazine that must deliver the look that’s as hip as today, but still honors the magazine's legacy which started in 1934.
